First off, Limewire does not come bundled with spyware at all, it is completely open source and there is no spyware/adaware at all period.
Second off, torrents are the most popular of file distribution out there. Download a torrent client (e.g. uTorrent or Azureus) then search for torrents with torrent search engines ( e.g. http://scrapetorrent.com )

Try eMule Plus, it's free and doesn't come bundled with spyware like LimeWire does. I have always found what I am looking for with eMule Plus.
