I have WinXP on my C: drive and Win98 on D: Recently I re-installed WinXP. Now my C: file system is NTFS and that for D: is FAT32. The OS choices menu that was flashed at the system startup is no longer displayed. How do I get that option back???

Boot.ini tab displays only WinXP and no Win98 option is there.

first install the windows XP , in the course , format the hard drive with NTFS then install the windows 98 formating the drive with FAT 32 .

Open Windows and click Start and then Run. Type msconfig and click OK. Go to the Boot.ini tab and you can edit the OS choice menu there.

Try to replace the boot.ini content with this one:
Do not forget to unset the read-only attribute on boot.ini
