After downloading a large bitorrent file ive learned that fat32 can only handle single files of up to 4gb.For my big hardrive size this really stinks. I've heard there is a way to convert from fat but is this easy and safe? if not will buying an external hardrive solve my problem? Advice much appreciated!

ok, so here's the deal...I was working on a report for quite some time, and turned it into my teacher december 06 before winter break. Than, I got a computer virus and lost a lot of my files, including my essay. THAN, our teacher LOST many of the students' essays, including mine, and told us that we need to turn in another copy...I tried using data recovery software, but I can't seem to find the file...What should I do? I am even willing to go to a computer forensic, but is it worth it?

It was working fine for about a week and a half... Now every time I open Firefox it going up and down. The Firefox anyways. IE doesn't do it. Any suggestions or reasoning why?

I've asked this twice but gotten no answers. I'm looking for where I can reset it all to its default settings WITHOUT having to uninstall it. I know it's possible because I've done it before, but I can't find it. If nobody knows how to do this, would anyone mind at least telling me what their sound settings are? I'm particularly looking for the part under Tools-->Options--> DVD tab --> Advanced --> Mixer/Gains Tab and the following values:

Master
Voice
Surround
LFE

Ok. I have Dell computer DIM 2400 that I bought 2 yrs ago. Here lately, say in the last 8 months or so, I have noticed a MAJOR drop in disk space. it has gotten to the point where I keep getting the message "Low Disk Space" everytime I log onto the 'net. I have deleted just about every file I can think off without deleting anything major to the computer. But I keep getting the same message about disk space. IS there anything I can do short of taking it into CompUSA or something like that to get it totally fixed? It is becoming annoying. Thanks in advance. Oh yeah---I do have sypware files installed to detect viruses and stuff in case someone were to ask....
