When typing on my laptop, the cursor suddenly jumps out of line and if I am not watchful, the text gets jumbled up as a result of this.

twice my p.c,s monitor has just switched off unexpected,once while installing a game and then while doing a virus scan
i have been thinking why this is happening,i have completed a virus scan since and everything is clear,also there is no spyware to report
this problem occured last night around 21-00 hrs,so would a system restore rectify this problem,or should i reinstall my display drivers?
note:since i installed avg,and uninstalled avast there has been no monitor blackouts

i'm cr@p with computers, and have managed to find a segment of film i want to show my class (KES, PE scene from a previous question) however its in an AVI format and cant play it on my Computer.
Is there a programme to be able to change it, or do i need to burn it onto a dvd and then play it to the class?
you help is greatly appreciated.

My very important .wav audio file(official) has been corrupted.The total time of this file is "1 hour 12 minutes."But i can hear only"45 minutes."Then my audio player says,"can't play.corrupted".
Please please and please tell me how can i recover this audio file from corruption and can listen full audio.

Ok I installed a new graphics card ATI Radeon 9250 and after some initial flashing on and off on my monitor everything went fine so i installed all the drivers for the new graphics card and it was all working fine. Then I started playing a game and about 6 hours after installing the card my computer turned off and will not turn back on. BUT I left the side off my computer, could this have caused any problems? I've tried removing the graphics card, plugging the monitor in the old port and nothing. No lights come on at all when the power cord is plugged in and when i press the on button nothing at all is happening (and yes i've got it turned on at the tower and the plug). Can anyone help me? Thanks.

I downloaded a movie from Morpheus,but when I play it on my
