When typing on my laptop, the cursor suddenly jumps out of line and if I am not watchful, the text gets jumbled up as a result of this.
How can I resolve this problem?

I had the same problem with a previous laptop. At first I thought it was due to me accidentally touching the touchpad but it turned out to be one of those autocorrect shortcut features in word. I can't remember exactly what it was, but I disabled something in word and it solved the problem. Wish I could be more precise! Check out the automatic typing features in word and see if that works!

You're probably touching the touchpad with your palms. Check in the touchpad properties--there may be an option to disable while typing. Or just be more careful. Or get an external mouse and disable the touchpad.

If your laptop has a touchpad, then you may be accidentally tapping it while you are typing, I do it all the time. Try getting an actual mouse for your laptop and disabling your touchpad.
