It reads: Personal Folders, This information service has not been configured. Select an existing file to configure, or type the name of a new file to create.

When I press the "OK" button, a new dialog box appears and it reads: Create/Open Personal Folders File.

(The box has four fields, I'll write what the dialog box has "written" next to each field and what is showing in the field.)

(From top to bottom)

Look in: Outlook
(unlabeled field): Outlook
File name: *.pst
Files of type: PST Files (*.pst)
All files (*.*)

At this point I don't know how to proceed, I can use some help with this. Thank you in advance.

A couple of days ago. I down loaded christmas carols from lime wire. the 19 carols I copyied to a CD. Then I went to copy another of the same 19 and it say's put in a blank disk .There was 1 in there already.Is there anyway to fix this ,I have a funny feeling someone put a viruis in it .someone please HELP me. Sometimes I'll need to restart my pc for configuration of applications. When it starts to go off, the blue screen with the Hewlett Packard logo will come on and the H/P logo appears as collated copies of itself before going black. Then, when the pc comes back on, sometimes the display comes on and other times it does not. When it doesn't, I have found that simply unplugging the monitor and plugging it back in will make the display come on. There doesn't seem to be a particular pattern to this, it's hit or miss. Does anyone know what I can do to check my sytem? Any advice? Thank you in advance.

I can log in on another computer without problems, but the same Yahoo account, or any other Yahoo account, freezes the first computer.

Is working off of someones wireless network punishable by law? It is an unsecured linksys network, meaning you need no passcode to use it. Sometimes if I drop our connection at home, my computer will switch over to this other one. Once in awhile I will encounter an IP adress conflict and I get off the mystery network and back to my own. I know its dangerous if Im doing anything important because some info is shared but I dont do anything important, and if I did I would do it on my own network. My mom said you could go to jail for using it, but I wasnt sure.

Hello!!!

iam having xp sp2 & win98 on the same systm. In 98, if no work is done with the systm (idle), the "HDD" LED would not glow.

But in XP SP2, even when the systm is idle, the HDD LED is glowing (meaning that the systm is working or doing some thing)
& there is no application (such as antivirus) running behind. Also sometimes the CD drive is being read frequently. (even though i dont apply any command to do so)

Why is it so? What is the computer doing (in XP) when the system is idle . I didnt even schedule any task to the comp.?

Iam expecting clear explanation so that u get 10 points!!!
