my mom is always asking me how to do stuff on her computer. shes to far away to run over and do it. like, dowloading attachments and crap

i know theres a way to do it from my computer at home, to access hers and have control of the screen and mouse. how?

doesn't windows have a remote access allowance option in the control panel? does one still need the additional software?

she's on a pc im on a mac, (but can run windows if i have to)

Go to www.logmein.com Firstly on her computer and then on your own. I believe you can have up to 5 PC's in your account until you have to pay for the professional version. So if it's just your moms PC, it won't even cost you a cent.

VNC software! I use RealVNC. Install the server on hers and the listener on yours.
