Other - Computers - November 2006

I've never done it before. As I am Multiple Chemical, Perfume and Food Sensitive I can't go anywhere near the Instruction Book as I will react to the smell of the print etc. Can anyone please help me?

I'm on a site now that allows me to download large (300+MB) files. Some of them are in .wmv files and when i go to play them, windows media player must first go search for a license. This is fine and once the license is found the file plays. My question is ... If i then go to burn these .wmv files to a cd will I also have to burn on the cd this 'license' somehow or will they just play normally on any computer from the burned cd? I wouldn't even know where to look for this license on my pc even tho win media player says it obtained it

I burned a movie from Adope Photoshp into a CD-RW. It went through on my sony pc. But when playing it on my samsung DVD player it say's :"Media not found and check your disk."

Help. I am frustrated. What am I am doing wrong it is a Christmas present for a very special family of mine. Thanks for all of you who take the time to answer. I been working on it for two month. I learned a lot. but this is the final straw.

Internet Explorer 7 or Foxfire? I need an answer from a person that uses the computer or web lots and keeps their computer updated.
which browser is the best? I don't want to get my computer in a rut that I can't get out of. My home page an a email address is with the isp that I use plus I have a Yahoo email address. And I don't know which browser works with best both and is the most up to date.

Since installing bt home hub my computer is very slow starting up and also when installing programs on computer, could this be with due to there norton download software also wont let me go back to any restore points once again any ideas???

I have 256 mb memory and I wish to install another memory module or card, whatever they are called.
I plan on purchasing 2 cards that are supposedly programmed to work together and give me 512 mb.
My question is where is the ram memory ?? Will I lose any
information from memory when I pull the installed card ??

my comp. configuration is- 128 mb ram, 1.7 ghz, p-4 and my os is windows xp... my motherboard is of kobian and my chipset is of intel series... i cannot install any drivers and specially vga driver... i get an error saying insufficient memory... close one more window and try again... but noneof my window is open... please gimme a solution... please...
