I burned a movie from Adope Photoshp into a CD-RW. It went through on my sony pc. But when playing it on my samsung DVD player it say's :"Media not found and check your disk."

Help. I am frustrated. What am I am doing wrong it is a Christmas present for a very special family of mine. Thanks for all of you who take the time to answer. I been working on it for two month. I learned a lot. but this is the final straw.

It has to do with the DVD player.
Not all DVD players support the same formats.
Some players will not play VCD movies like the one you created.
Some don't support disc with the RW format (rewrite format) like the disc that you used.
The video might also be in a format that the player can not decode.
A lot of the new DVD player support DIVX and MPEG video formats only.
Check your DVD player's manual for supported disc's and video formats. Also try it on a different player. I have burnt things before that would not work on my player but would work perfectly on another.

it is very possible it is not in the correct format to play in a dvd player. most dvd players will play vcd and svcd, but some won't. i would suggest formatting it with a burning program, such as nero. if that doesn't work, it is possible your dvd player doesn't support vcd format.

Try burning it onto a DVD+/-R or DVD+/-RW I see you are using a (-) format, so try using a (+) format & See if this helps. Good Luck
