ive tried using programs ,dreamweaver,smart ftp,fast trackand a bunch of other ones is it my computer ther hosting company or something else it is really frustrating is there someone who can help me? ftp://mysite.com is also very slow process is there a better way to do this?

They are always arguing about whose turn it is to get on the computer. Aside from using it to do homework, I think they should pay for using it. How much should I charge? and should I charge also for printing? Printer ink doesn't grow on trees, you know!

It was working fine until it moved house recently. When switched on the screen stays black and a box appears in the middle of the screen with an information symbol saying "off mode".
All plugs and cables are connected properly.
Any help would be appreciated.

Microsoft excel?

I use to be a pro at Microsft excel,.. but i have not worked in a while and i cant remember jack,.. can someone talk me on how to enter a simple formula, maybe this will help me get my memory back,.. i use to use my mouse to enter formula's as oppose to typing them in,.. ? does that make sence?

I have about 1500 pics stored on my computer, and I wanted to back them up on a disc for long term storage. Most of these pictures are not printed out, but are very important to me. I want to make sure the CD lasts many many years. I have heard that some CD-R's only last 5 years or so. Any Suggestions?

Recently, my computer has been running slower than usual. I thought it would be Adware; however, Ad-Aware and Windows Defender wasn't able to find any thing wrong. I also went through my processes list and removed all the unnecessary files. I have also upgraded my RAM to 1 Gb and cannot go any higher.
I'm not trying to run videogames that require lots of memory, I am just trying to run simple programs like Outlook and Adobe programs.
Does anyone have any ideas to the cause of my computer running so slow? Should I buy/download Norton Utilities and/or programs like it to try to boost my computer's performance? Do these programs make my computer more efficient?
System Info: 1 GB Ram, 55 GB Hard Drive, Intel Pent. 1.6 Gz.

Anyone know why MyDocuments opens when I restart my comp. It is not under scheduled tasks and was not always like this. It is no great deal, it just takes like 5-10 seconds more when I restart because of it.
