so it just goes black? or does it go to the windows shutdown?

if it goes to the windows shutdown: Go run your virus and spyware scanners. if they find nothing, make sure they have been updated. update them and run them again. IF none of this helps or no viruses detected, you should back up your data and format/reinstall windows.

If it goes black, or directly off: This may be bad, This needs to be taken to a professional. This could be a logic board problem, if the logic board has an onboard HDD controller, and the controller is forcing the computer to shutdown when you write a lot of data. this may mean a new motherboard to a new PSU.
