how do i know if yahoo messenger for mac is saving my conversations, and, if it is, how do i disable the option so no chats will be recorded, and the ones that were already will be deleted?

the instructions from the first answer are how i did it in windows. but in the privacy menu for mac there is no message archive option to click on.

It's automatically done :-) I think. What I mean is, I don't think Yahoo Messenger has the option for archiving messages. If it doesn't have the Archive option it won't save any previous messages. I could be wrong tho, I use Adium X instead of YM for Mac. LOL, this answer doesn't sound like it's answering your question, huh?

ok when you first sign into yahoo messenger click on messenger then privacy options then click on messenger archive you can set it the way that you want from there.
