First of all I would check what the box tells you on how to install it. then I would go to Best Buy and give them all the specifications of what your pc has then explain the problem they maybe can help too. then I would check CompUSA and they might help too. then I would go to " Ask.com" they can help you on just about anything. then I would also get the manual out on your pc and recheck all the outlets and inputs and try on at a time inserting the card until it the computer says "found new hardware" like when you put in a webcam? I have a Dell so when I plugged in my webcam this is what it told me. I would also call my tech support or email them this question also and they might be able to help. then after doing all this if it hasn't helped you I would pack up the computer and bring it to a local computer store with your game card and ask them to install it for you or look up in the phone bopk computer help handy people and they can make house calls.

If you are running Windows check the Device Manager..
In Win Vista, XP and 2000..
Control Panel, System Icon double click, Hardware tab, Device Manager button, Display Adapter click plus sign.
Also check your available RAM/Memory in the General Tab of from Control Panel System Icon double click. If your RAM installed is say 512MB and you only show 496MB for example that means 16MB is being used as shared video memory by an on-board video card on your system board. These video cards usually aren't very good at or supported at all by high end games that have heavy 3D Graphics (Quake, Unreal, Everquest, etc.)

Assuming the drivers are loaded, Right Click on My Computer and select the bottom option - properties. Then select the hardware tab. Now click on the Device Manager button. In the new list that appears, click the little plus symbol next to "Display Adaptors" The type of video card will be shown here. If it says "Standard VGA graphics adaptor" then the drivers are not loaded.
