After downloading the updated Explorer 7, my Yahoo homepage changed it's format....including not having the tool "Favorites". What's happening? Thanks, Mike

I have a downloaded jpeg in my documents, now I want rid, I've found I cannot delete it.

I run Windows XP, the jpeg in question has no option when you right-click to delete it, if I click delete in the status bar it does nothing, I've tried unlocker, but to no avail. The option for unlocker appears on every file but this one. Looking at the properties of the jpeg file, it has none at all...everything is blank! However, ti acts, opens and behaves just like a jpeg looks, except the picture does not exist.

How do I delete this thing?!?! any ideas??

It was bought in Germany and my girlfriend is German but now she wants to put it in English. What is the usual procedure? Also she has no disks except the recovery cd....please help! Thanks

ok my computer is fairly old but got some improvements over times.
my computer has a 2.8 processor i have 1GB of ram and i have a 9500 ATI grapics card 128 mbs.

ok this is my problem my computer used to run battleflied 2 and half life2 really fast. but now my computer just last few mounths start slowing down and i dont know way. I tryed everything i could think of i tryed defragment my drive, clean up regestry (pardon my spelling) i did anti-virus and clean out ALL of my virus so dont say its a virus. i also buyed software to speed up my computer system xp. i think it might have to do with something with my graphics card but i really dont know. tryed reinstalling the drivers and i got mild result in improvment. i am LOST i have an ok computer i know my graphics card is the low end verison but should work on all my games. so some plz HELP ME!!!!

ok, if someone wanted to download photoshop on limewire, would that be safe? also would it use up too much computer space that it would slow down the computer? i dont really know much about limewire, but someone suggested it. what do you think?

Is there a way to print just a small portion of these documents.... I am trying to print out about 1/4 of a floor plan and only know to convert it to a pdf to be able to choose what area to print... which drastically reduces the quality.. Thanks!!

I have a fast, high spec computer, and everything else is running great and fast, but when I try to play movie clips of any kind, they take an age to start, around 30 - 45 secs sometimes. Very occasionally, about once every 10 clips, one will start straight away. Its not a copyright issue, as it does it with any free to download clips from the wen. Its not just windows media player, same happens if I try to open them in real player or similar. I have the latest versions of all software. Any suggestions?

I've only had my laptop 8 months and it's slow. I know there's probably a virus but I've wiped it and restarted it a couple of times and it stil takes about 2-3 minutes for the internet explorer to load when I log on. What can I do? Will having more memory (only 256k at the moment) help?

I'm having problems with a backup program and the company tech told me to download and open a program (he sent me) then take a "screen shot" and send it to him so he can help resolve my problem.

I signed up for the 4 discs at a time with Netlix, but only received 3 of the 4 today; is this normal or should I be worried one of the discs have been stolen since it did not arrive with the other discs of its set. Yes, it has been shipped.

We have Windows XP on a Dial up connection its a emachines computer. For the last couple of days we have been getting this message

That is the entire message its came up twice. What is it, What does it mean and can it be fixed??
This computer has been nothing but a headache recently it has been really slow and when we connect to the internet the pages don't want to display we have to refresh at least twice
Can any one help fix this mess??

Okay we have windows xp and DSL. And lately my computer has been freezing up and i have no idea why and how to stop this from happening....Its really frustrating...I have a windows configuration CD that will erase everything on my computer and put it back to when we bought the computer. Can i still do this with windows XP installed? I suppose i will have to install windows XP again when the CD is all done? Will they let me do that again?!?!? Can i install it for the second time???? Im not sure what to do on this...Im not very computer smart. But i dont want to mess up the computer either, and im scared once i delete everything i wont be able to install windows XP again......???? ANY advice please?!?!?! Thanks so much!!!

I was reading an article on Yahoo! Tech and found "HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE" What is that? How do you use it? What is the registry this person is talking about?

When my daughter gets off MySpace, she'll have 30-40 critical objects. PLUS, she will have used Quicktime, which will have installed itself in the startup list. This will slow down the system startup. As long as we're in the Registry... Find someone who KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING to show you how to go into HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE and delete the unwanted start ups from the Run submenu. Unchecking things using MSCONFIG will cause the system to yell at you everytime you startup to remind you that have unchecked something. The Registry is the place to remove things

I do not find any related file in Startup folder, yet I see a icon of a programme in tray. Every time in start my computer, i need to close the programe. I am searaching for a permanent method so that the icon never is displayed in the system tray.
