I'm having problems with a backup program and the company tech told me to download and open a program (he sent me) then take a "screen shot" and send it to him so he can help resolve my problem.
But, how do I make a screen shot and how do I email a screen shot to someone in Yahoo mail?

Is this a "screen shot" of some page or anything that has text or more? You could always just do a cut, copy thing....or you can try to right click on the particular screen you're trying to send, depending upon the various programs you have on your PC, as some let them send the page directly by e-mail to someone or at least a link to that page.....do happen to have the Yahoo! toolbar? Not sure if it's why I happen to have the option of e-mailing 'this' or any other page I right click on to someone via Yahoo! or not, but me thinks could be....!!!

Hi, if you get up the info onto your screen, then press the print sc (Prt Bc) button on the top line of your keyboard. Them open a word doc and paste it in there. You can make ajustments if you need to. You can then email this doc as an attachment using yahoo. Hope this helps.

Press the print screen key.
This places the screen shot into the clipboard.
Paste it into a graphics app (like pbrush, photoshop or something)
Save it with a file name in a location you can access.
Attach it to your email.

Use the Printscreen button on your computer keyboard. Then goto Paint and paste the image file there. File Save As .jpg image file. Save it to a my documents location and your ready to attach to your email.
