when trying to uninstall a program i some how lost some of the file now i cant get it back i would like to reinstall it if i could find it help!!!!!!!!

You Will have to remove manually. Find out what is the folder where the program is installed. Search the registry for that folder (and maybe executable) and remove the keys/values that refer it. (backup everything you remove). Then delete the folder.

An easier way is to just remove the folder, then run a cleaner (like CClean), which will clean the orphaned registry keys and shortcuts.

If you have the original disk for the program, you may have to reinstall the program first, so that all the files are there, then do an uninstall using the Control Panel and the Add or Remove Programs icon.

During installation, your computer makes a list of all the files that were added by the install. When it is time to uninstall, if it can not find all the files, the unistall it fail. Somehow one or more of the files must have gotten deleted. If you reinstall, then all the files will be back and you should then be able to uninstall it.
