i have cable internet and i was wondering if i restored my computer if i'd need some disk to put it back on my computer or if it just automatically detects it and reinstalls it itself?

Converting thru any program like, paint brush, it cuts down the picutre quality which i dont want. Any picture if i wanna download from internet- when i go to save it, it only shows me the bmp option to save which i dont want.

I think I have several viruses - nothing can pick up - tons of programs and scans - can't do Hijack this cause I don't know how to read a log or what to do with it and I heard that you really have to in order to use it..

Is this from a virus?? It is normally on 2% or lower.

She asked a question about a month ago about a disappearing taskbar and the question was never resolved. I have a laptop I used several years ago with an old Yahoo email account (an account I no longer use and is closed). Is there any place that saves information like that on my computer where I could possibly find email addresses I used, or a Messenger name? Is there anywhere I can look in my computer? i have a hp pavilion 7840 and have it in a custom case that has a side window and a 120mm fan holder in the back and in the front there is a place for a 80mm or 120mm fan in the front bottem.there is also a fan in the window it has 3 blue ccf (lights) they are sound reactive.the cpu is a 950mhz celeron2 socket 370.the ram is 256mb of pc 133.the powersupply is not even 24hours old and it is a rosewill 380W.the case has blue led lags and a 1/2 year old cd r-rw burner 52x and a light-on 48x cdrom.
there is a blue back lit thermoiter.there is 2 hdd one is 40gb and the other is 8.3gb.the hdds are segate.it has a new cpu fan that is about 1 day old.it has a ethernet pci networking card and a 56k fax modem.it workes grate and has vary few scraches and there is about $1200 with upgrades it what i have paid for it.the windowes os is me and has the recovery disk that don't have any scraches on them. it has on board video and aduio.there is the 120mm fan and the 80mm fan is included

I bought a replacement printer ink cartridge today from Office Max. Its one of those $5 cheaper, refilled ones. Still, it costs $26!!!

So I change the cartridge in the printer, and what do I find in the new box? A prepaid, plastic bag/envelope to mail your old, empty cartridge back to the company.

It says, "Please be responsible and send us your empty cartridge so we can recycle and dispose of it properly." and "Help us save the environment".

What kind of BULL$HIT is that!!!

They act all high and mighty because they're "Helping the environment", but they turn around and sell our garbage back to us for an insane cost. It's 2 oz. of black ink. Why does it cost almost $30??!?!?!

I can get 1gb of flash memory on a jumpdrive for twenty bucks at circuit city. What is so amazing about ink for s $hitty printer.

That pisses me off......

It's been about 3-4 days since I haven't been able to sign into MSN messenger.When I troubleshoot the problem, it says "wireless." My internet is working though;how can it be wireless?What should I do? Oh and I even tried re-downloading MSN, but I still have the same problem.
