As great as google is, it's been giving me crap for about a week now on where to send things rather than what criteria I need in order to SEND something in the postal system in the first place. Damn... (Yes, I do not know how to send a letter as I have assimilated into the technological world of today and tomorrow and get most things across through the internet. Thanks for the help though, much appreciated coming from a person is is olden time illiterate. LOL.) *Odd how they don't have a catergory for mail*

I would like to send some JPEG photo's on a CD to be reproduced on a DVD player in the USA. The person that I would be sending them to does not have a PC.
Is this possible or will the old PAL/NSTC format problem prevent this?

I have down loaded actors photos from net..(google)...The box said that e-net xplorer is adding them to my fevourities...They also made it available off line...& customized...Oh ! now I cant find those photos as well as my fevorities....

Well I now have my avitar on this bit and have invited a couple of people that answered my last 360 question so thanks to you all, but...

It seems to be a setting in my computer rather than the videos themself I always just see a green screen. This happens sometimes on Yahoo! Video but on other platforms too.

Any ideas and settings that I can look at.

im using windows 98,i dont knw wht shud i call this problem,it has display problem,whenever i use internet explorer or yahoo messenger,after few minutes i hav to restart computr........if i use yahoo messenger i can see all the messages but cant see the message which i type...and thn it becomes neccessary to restart if i dont do so,an error comes "yahoo msnger .....illegal operation".....blah blah

I bank online with Barclays. I received an email today in my "Bulk" folder, strange, because usually any mail I get from them goes straight into the inbox...
Anyway, the email states that they are updating their services and that I should provide all my details for confirmation - name, address, email, card number, logon details, secret question, secret answer, password, etc.

For some reason the date on when the email was sent says 7th May... Am I right to be sceptical about this - it certainly looks like a usual Barclays email.
What do you suggest? Has anyone else received something like this?

when i plug my extornal western digital hard drive trough usb i hear a sound that it was found, an icon pops up by the clock (right on the bottom), but when iam checking my computer i cant see my hard drive there so whats the problem...

yes i have 2.0 usb
i went to a disk management, in the disk management, on that hard drive instead of saying "Healthy (system)" it says "Unallocated" and also its not showing me the letter of the hard drive. when i click on it with a right button i con only see New Partition..., Properties, and Help. thats all. so i can even defragment

I've now got my mum's and my uncle's slides which I want to put onto CD or in a file on the computer. Can I do it myself using an ordinary scanner? (which does photos, documents etc.) or do I have to buy a special scanner to attach to my computer to do this? I found one answer that has a slide scanner which you attach to your digital camera. But I don't have one of those cameras. Many thanks for your help. I am a bit concerned that if I sent them all away through a Photo place something might happen to all those precious memories of my mum and my uncle - who are now deceased. Many thanks Mary.

Any suggestions or advice?
I know how to uninstall. I go to Start > Control Panel > Add Or Remove Programs > Spyware Doctor > Uninstall > then it starts and just sits on the first bar. It took a minute to install (after downloading) but will probably take days to uninstall.
