Are you absolutley sure it's not a virus! just because your virus scanner says there's nothing there doesn't mean there isn't... anti-viruses don't pick all viruses. When your computer starts up it will most probably say "You computer has recovered from a serious error." and ask you to send an error report. Send the report and see if there's a response.
If you can't figure it out and don't want to take it to a computer shop, the first thing I'd do would be to make sure the fans inside are running at at least 1500RPM, any less and there will be heat buildup, which causes intermittent restarts. If the fans have slowed down too much, get new fans and a new CPU because once a CPU is heat damaged, it's stuffed for good. (By CPU I mean the chip inside.) You can normally check the fan speeds by pressing DEL repeatedly from the moment your computer starts humming when you turn it on... this will take you into the BIOS setup. (If DEL doesnt work, try F2 or F10)
Try replacing the RAM, and then try the power supply.

Random reboots are very often associated with heat problems either with the CPU or the Power Supply. Have you done anything recently "under the hood?" Do you have anything that provides you feedback on the CPU temps?
Is there any particular thing you are doing at the time of the Reboots?
A little more system information would also help.

Your PC could have crashed because of a Programs, Update or a new configuration. If you remember doing any of these right before the rebooting started happening it might be the problem.

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr

Its most likely overloading. The computer sometimes cant handle all of the memory it uses and it just quits.
