There is no floppy drive so cant do it from a boot disk, and when i try with a bootable CD it loads windows (even tried going into the bios and setting the CD rom the highest in the boot order)

if there is anyone out there thats knows anything about computers i need your help.............okay i was on the internet downloading some updates from microsoft well my computer froze and i had to turn it off then back on,well it was starting up but then it went to a blue screen something about memory dump and it just keeps starting over what can i do to fix it ................................

I've tried to pause the video and right click to find a save option, but it doesn't work. I've wondered about this for a while because I always see pictures on the 'net from people that know how but I could never get the answer as to how to do it. I've just finished editing a final cut express movie. I've already exported it as a quicktime movie. The file is 5 gigabytes, I've tried to burn this movie and other movies of even higher size using iDVD '06 onto DVD Rs and DVD RWs. It has never worked. Is this because iDVD doesn't compress the movie files prior to burning them on the disk? If not, what do I do to solve this problem? PLEASE HELP! It's been like this for 2 years!
