They're not hard to use at all. I know, it's a little disorienting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll fall in love. You'll find that things are just easier on a Mac. A lot less clicks and commands. More... fun. :-)

i might might desire to disagree with maximum factors of each answer so some distance. on the same time because it somewhat is actual that abode windows isn't the main shelter platform by skill of default, there is not any "shelter" platform. As a white hat hacker, i became into knowledgeable in viruses and exploits. it somewhat is achieveable to shelter a gadget to a element the place only the main stronger hacker ought to crack the secure practices, yet this is after changing permissions, changing port pastime, and ensuring information encryption. so some distance as Mac particular viruses, there are literally thousands and thousands of them. some viruses are greater benign than others, yet an epidemic is an epidemic. A Mac with default settings has been no harder to crack than a abode windows gadget nor Linux (which continues to be an trouble-free hack if the owner isn't responsive to secure practices.) previous those OS-particular viruses, there are multi-platform viruses floating around our on line international. a number of which would be in basic terms particular to abode windows/Mac, or Mac/Linux, or abode windows Xp/pink Hat Linux/solar Solaris, etc. Hackers do no longer waste their time destroying structures that mean no longer something (till an novice,) they'll concentration on the greater commonplace structures used for storing needed information, or the main utilized application in the marketplace to reason the main injury. in the top, the only extremely secure pc is one that would not function. (although some might dispute it somewhat is secure if it has no community connectivity.) Mac or in any different case, learn the secure practices constructive factors of your gadget and enforce them. verify as much as this element secure practices application is put in and working precise. And in case you extremely care approximately secure practices, ascertain you have a firewalled router keeping your gadget with set enable and deny permissions.

Its just different.
The first time you used windows it took a bit of getting used to - its exactly the same thing - you need to get used to it.
I am told if anything Apple Macs are more user friendly but you still have to get used to the interface.
