my family members use the desktop computer in my house very badly, except me. they don't wait up for things, they mess about with programmes and they download too many things and even mess about with the internet. i often have to check and repair all the viruses and clean all the waste files.what do you say?

well ii dont know if i should b to worried, my son has he's own laptop he's 12 and i dont know if his to mature he is very quiet he always does wat hes told and so own is that bed anyways he can do HTML, use adobe cs2 make objects for the sims 2 and he always listens to delta is that bad and will he get ripped off

1. I have a Sony Mini DV vedio camera which came with the software called Pixela Image Mixer. Problem is that when i use the usb cable that came along with the camera to capture the recordings onto my laptop, and then make the cd, i get a very bad cd. the sound in the cd breaks and there is excessive pixellation in the home CD. A guy at the photo/vedio store was saying that i need some card to br put in my computer. Can someone help with the step by step process.
2.The windows movie maker software is not capturing sounds from the vedio camera, otherwise I feel that the capturing onto the laptops better.

My reason for doing this is that I want to add programs to my Imac which is basically messed up. I wanted to add financial programs and also games to it as well as anti virus and anti spyware as well as whatever else I can find. Not sure if I can download onto my windows laptop cause I know its not compatible with mac software.. but all Im doing is using it as a launch area so I can get the programs onto my MP3...

I have a LG DVD writer combo in here and I know how to record into CD recordable for about 19 song ( 700 MB)but I want to record MP3 files into CD recordable for about a hundred mp3 song in 1 CD but how? thnx in advance.

Note: 100 mp3 song in one CD pls. how to burn it and how to do it pls?

I had saved my accounting reports into a diskette and now i can't open any of the files in the diskette. PLEASE help me...is there any way of retrieving back those reports?? Or are they lost forever??

it works on some video's that i have downloaded but some of them i can hear but there are only colored zigzag lines on the screen. is it cuz my computer is old n can't keep up ??

When I try to run the defragmenter or scan disc, I get a message that it has restarted 10 times because some program is running. I have to go to safe mode in order to run defragmenter or scan disc. Whatever it is, it must be somewhere in the startup files. Safe mode skips over the startup files.

re: my question. Some follow-ups:

1) Why is it that I got a response from yahoo answers while the help desk hasn't yet seen fit, and that was wthin a minute of my asking other customers!

2) Do most Yahoo customers have this experience within days of joining?

I find it hard to swallow that a service provider leaves you with quwstions up the wazoo, and "penalizes you for asking, when the only thing you CAN do is ask other users of the service!

WMP asks in the tools>options>ripping menu what format I want...4 choices WMA, WMA (variable bit rate), WMA Lossless, and MP3. It also has a slider at the bottom adjusting size vs. quality. I haven't the slightest clue what the diff. is. Will what I choose here affect me later when I try to burn a CD? Does audio size option mean I'm essentially stretching fewer songs over the disc to maintain quality when I could adjust it to fit more music on the cd? And does WMP have the option of labeling the music files so the names or a disc title shows up on my car player?I've only recently discovered mp3 cds & that my car deck has been compatible all along. I am confused here. Oh and 1 more question. When I buy blank dvds to record on, there are DVD+R, DVD-R, also choices on length of burn time available, I think I get mode types, but what's the difference between those two? DVD-RW is like a cd-rw besides the obvious basically tho rite? CDs don't have + s and - s I thought I left that in HS math

I have few important files in my Microsoft Private Folder version1 under a domain user name. Unfortunately without backing up those files in My Private folder, I deleted the domain from Laptop and can not open those files. I am can not be that domain. So any solution? please help

My pc will not allow me to update the updates it sends every month anymore, it will install them and then say they did not sucessfully download, i need a microsoft professional disk? I never needed that before for these updates,
also, it will not download my updates for quick time or real player, another weird thing, when people email me they may have a link for me to click on and when I do , it immediatley goes to :"my owner file" when i try to access a certain program it says i need internet explorer and i do, then it keeps saying i need to download it and i already had. Once i got a message saying my windows installer was corrupted, i havent seen it since and cannot recall where it came from, but now its so bad it wont even update! HELP! Please
