depends what u mean by take over......
i prefer to look at it as. if the machines are doing the work, they have allready won.....
who makes the cars.... can a man do any job anymore, without involving a machine.
If we use machines to do everything.. and machines are getting smarter, and smarter, how far are we from, your next office computer upgrade.. to an intel pentium 24 92000....... not only being an upgrade, but your replacement
its not going to be like terminator, it will be invasion of the cream boxes ...
i still cant figure out why we still have libraries.. computers do that
why video stores.. book stores etc etc

I think that we will fall from a nuclear war before A.I. bots could even be advanced to the point where they could take over. BTW, I love your profile picture :)

No, because man will pull the plug if things begin to get out of hand, Robots can only do what they are programmed to do, thier AI will only have enough capacity to grow to a pre empted limit.
