I have a Roland HP 100 keyboard. I know it's musical, but I took it apart and found that the carbon impregnated rubber that touches the printed circuit needed cleaning.
This has worked for my computer keyboard as well. Nothing that falls on a keyboard affect the keys. It's the carbon-rubber pad that touches the printed circuit board does. Nothing else.

carry down Alt key, and at the same time as protecting it down, key in on the numeric keypad to the right of the keyboard -- no longer the volume keys on correct of the keyboard -- the numbers 0,0,7,7, to style an M. To style a decrease-case m, style 0,a million,0,9.
