my family members use the desktop computer in my house very badly, except me. they don't wait up for things, they mess about with programmes and they download too many things and even mess about with the internet. i often have to check and repair all the viruses and clean all the waste files.what do you say?

Adi what can I say. Ask your family to use computer properly or just don't repair the dammed thing. That will teach them not to mess around in future.

having that happen where you have to clean up the pc of viruses coz they dont care about your pc 1 day there will be a trojan get in and your anti virus will not get it out you best not let them use it till they learn to take care of it

General administrative priviledges sholud be kept with you

Setup sign-ons for each of them, with a password, including one for you. This way, you can restrict them to only performing certain tasks.

if it's your computer then limit the access of the others and if it's not, then it's not ur problem. All you can do it try to help it and teach them what to and not to do.
