i have burnt a cd on windows media player. is there a way of deleting the songs on the cd to make space for new songs?

No, unless it's a rewritable CD. You can add songs if there is still space. If you put songs on to play on a normal CD player - you finalise it - after that no songs can be added. It needs to be finalised to play on a CD player - but not on your computer.

Well the data on a cd can be erased only if the cd is cd-rewritebale disc if you burned it on a normal disc well there is no way to erase the data on a disc. CD-RW can be erased

If you used a CD-RW, yes. If you used a CD-R, no.

Nope. You probobly didn't use a rewritable cd, so after you finalize it, it's done for good.

it depends what you are using CD-rw or CD-r
