I've downloaded an AVI file that's 700.95MB & want to burn the film onto CD as I don't have a DVD writer. Someone told me that I have to convert the file to MPEG first & then split it because it won't all fit on one CD.

Is this right? How do I do it?

I've two-month-old baby. My family members are against using the computer near to baby. They say, "radiation from computer are not good for the baby, so don't use computer when baby is in the room."

ive had this laptop for about ayear now and downloaded limewire about 3 or 4 monthes ago and about2 monthes ago it wouldnt let me look for music and this thing kept popping up that said " your machine does not appear to have an active internet connection or your firewall is blocking limeire from working properly" and some other crap but i dont know how to fix it, i have a working internet connection and ive checked my firewall and im out of ideas. can anyone help??

Does it automatically find a wireless internet connection (no set-up?)?

If I have Microsoft Office for windows XP on an external hard drive, with all the office files needed to run the programs, can I put the files on the mac and use it?

If i cant, can I get free software for mac that does the same thing as office, if not how much would that cost?

Can you use all moniters w/ it w/ the standard hook-up?

It is now on Windows Media Player, and I am trying to Sync it into my MP3 Player. But it is not working. It says that it is syncronizing, but nothing is happening. Am I doing something wrong? The song plays fine. I am trying to get it onto my computer/MP3.
