Does it automatically find a wireless internet connection (no set-up?)?

If I have Microsoft Office for windows XP on an external hard drive, with all the office files needed to run the programs, can I put the files on the mac and use it?

If i cant, can I get free software for mac that does the same thing as office, if not how much would that cost?

Can you use all moniters w/ it w/ the standard hook-up?

1) as long as your Mac mini has built-in AirPort, it will automatically detect available networks and ask you if you want to connect to them.

2) any Office files created with the Windows version of the software can be opened with the Mac version. the actual Windows software won't run on the Mac however; you'll need either Office for Mac or a free open source program like NeoOffice (http://www.neooffice.org/) to edit them.

3) NeoOffice is the most well known open source Office clone for the Mac.

4) yes, the Mac mini can use any standard monitor. there is a DVI output on the back of it, and a DVI to VGA adapter comes in the box.

It will find all available networks in range. You just need to select yours and it remember it for future uses.

Office for XP will not work. The is a program called "Open Office"
It is free and can read any Microsoft office file.

Mac's usually come with a DVI - VGA adapter as the mac mini only has a DVI monitor hookup. But with this adapter you can use any monitor.
Hope this helps
