It either means you are running too many programs at once, or your hard drive is too full, and unable to run as many programs.
Just cut down on the amount of porgrams you have open at any one time, and the problem shouldnt persist.

well, here is how i think it should be corrected.
right click on My computer and go to Properties
there go to Advanced tab and in that click on the Settings button corresponding to Performance ..... and here you can increase the virtual memory.

reboot and close your programs when you are not using them.
