I keep hearing about these cheap computer that will be $100. what kind and will it work like the regural ones. Where do you buy them or when will they be on the market

They will run Linux, and will have a very small hard disk drive or no hard disk drive. You won't be able to install much, if any, software on them. The monitors will be tiny. They will not "work like the regular ones."

You can buy a low-cost computer for around $300-$400 from Dell. That's as cheap as it's going to get for a "regular" computer.

I think you heard about the laptops developed by MIT for third world countries. I don't know hardware specifics, but they will run Linux.
