If you mean you cant use your space bar, then you need a new keyboard.

Sounds like a new keyboard is called for. But, if your characters are in the wrong places, you need to setup the country codes (in control panel) usually US is set to UK and vise-versa. Two different problems by the sounds of

I dunno but I have lost the "pound" sign off mine and if I want to put this symbol...@ it isn't at the end of my ASDFG line where it should be it is above my number 2 .... my speech marks that should be above number2 is where the@ sign is if I press 'shift and 3 to try and get my 'pound sign this is what I get.... # something not right here eh???? does anybody know where I can find my "pound" sign??????

Yer, if your key boards bust you will need to get a new one - they are relativly cheep to buy.
