My daughter has a persistent image on her desktop. It is about three icon tiles long and does not change no matter how often she changes the Desktop. Right clicking on it does nothing, it does not appear in Appearance preview of the desktop. She is using XPHome and a Dell. Unfortunately she lives with her mother so I only get access occasionally to the computer. The persistent image only occurs on her log in, not on my ex-wife's log on, nor on her sister’s log on.

Any suggestions?

evrytime i turn my fujitsu siemens notebook on it comes up with a black screen and says:

If you are like me you are always looking for programs to speed up your computer, last night I turned off my computer (its been on for months) this morning it kept blocking, I have now opened it and found that between the fan and heat sinc was blocked with dirt which I removed with earsticks, I now have a boot up time of 12 seconds and its running very fast,so before you try or buy programs to speed up your computer try the above,its also easy to do and can save you money buying products that will not help.

ok, i was playing a game on my comp., and it said press ALT F3 to pause the game.....i pressed ALT F4 on accident and a screen popped up and it said "Windows.....The Truth Lies Beneath the Keys".....then the screen closed and i was back on my game. i did this numerous times after it happened, and it does it every time. if u have windows, press ALT F4 to see if this happens to you. if u know whats going on, answer please

for the past few nights ive been getting calls from a restricted number and theyre just quiet. dont say a word. now i stay on the phone n just hit MUTE and they stay on there for 4-10 mins. and do/say NOTHING! is there any way to find out who they are? and YES i have asked who it is n all that n they stay quiet

If I'm using it and its plugged into the wall for too long will it make my laptop battery die or be overcharged. If I didn't use it and left it plugged will it overcharge?
