Press start, then control panel, then network and connections and then network connections. now you will see some thingy there telling you whether you are connected or not. Now what you can do is put your cursor on the connected connections and right click it and then go to property and then a box pops up now at the bottom left hand side tick the box show an icon on the system tray when connected. Once this box is ticked everytime you are connected you should get a sort of computer screen looking with some airwave in front of it at the bottom right hand side of your screen. good luck

Look at your browser firefox or internet explorer then click it and hey presto your home page should come up.I recommend firefox myself as a browser.You can set your internet connection to show telly boxes in the task bar when you are connected to the internet.

when you're online you can answer questions.. here... ask questions... check your mail.. if you're offline.. you can't do it.. sign in box appears...
if you mean in messenger... when you're online you can send your Friend messages... offline message or instant message... that's all!
