A computer system that is pre-configured to edit video or burn DVDs directly out of the box: just turn the key and edit. An increasing number of turnkey systems are capable of both video editing and DVD burning.

depends on the use of the system - normally, its an all in one system that has all the basics you'll need to startup. Wikipedia states it as a system that one can use immediately.. For example, if you are a store, a turnkey Point of Sale system, is a system ready for use by the store to enter inventory and start selling goods..all packaged into one system. Or look at yahoo or google, they are trying to be the turnkey search solution provider - providing you with all your needs in one spot..

Turnkey is used to describe a system designed to do a specific thing that is trivial to set up. You just "turn a key" and it's installed and working with little to no configuration.
Almost invariably, these systems are extremely configuration intensive. Go figure!
