My aunt just changed her telephone service to digital through WOW cable, and now her MSN WebTV will not connect. Multiple calls to MSN WebTV Tech Support have yielded only one answer: "MSN WebTV will not work on a digital phone line." I find that hard to believe since most digital media will accept analog input. I also find it hard to believe that they are not working on a solution. Hopefully someone out in Internet Land does have a solution and can help me get my aunt re-connected. She is not comfortable with a PC, so this is her only Internet connection. If I can't solve the problem, she will have to cancel her service and not have access to the Internet. Help !

I want to buy a laptop to empty my photoes in it from my camcorder or digi camera when I travel..I'm going to travel in a few days..so I need to deside now:
1-what do U think of "macbook pro" from mac. ?
2-what is the defferance between a laptop & a Pc laptop??
I want this laptop to last long & 4 other uses other than just photoes..

i'm using windows xp and i was running adaware to do my usual maintenance. halfway thru it started making this grinding noise for a while and running really slow, and then it just restarted itself. i had to run windows in "last configuration that worked" cuz otherwise it wouldn't start up. but what do i do to fix this? whats wrong? help! i don't wanna pay a couple hundred or more to get it professionally fixed. and adaware shouldn't be doing this to the comp. it never has before.

I'm travling after a few days..& I want to buy a laptop so I can empty my photoes from my digital camera or camcorder into it...but I want a laptop that'll last with me like 4 long..what are special features that deffer between laptops?& what do U recomend me to buy: model & brand..pictures are not the only thing i use a computer 4 I use a computer for defferent things..I'm willing to pay around $1000 or less if possible..I need to deside fast 'cause as I said I'm going in a few days...

My PC is 4 years old and still runs very well. It's a Dell Dimension 2300 Windows XP. Printer is included.It has wireless internet, no viruses ( I never downloaded music onto it), up to date virus protection, not slow performance and hardly ever freezes. How can I sell it & is that safe to do? Can I use ebay, amazon ,any ideas?

I have downloaded a bunch of songs onto my laptop. It doesn't have a cd burner. I thought I could just transfer the songs to my desktop and burn them from there. But, I am getting a message that says this computer is not authorized to burn these songs. What do I do?
