I bought a laptop from my relative...it has Windows Xp in it..
if i view the system information (from control panel--System--General tab)... it is registered in my relative's name...

how do i change it to my name?...
i tried changing the name in user accounts but it didn't work...

any suggestions????

Changed computer and find that some of the documents saved from this machine appear as "goobilygook" when trying to open in any document files - works, word, notepad etc.

I know how to change them, but I want to be able to change them to an icon other than the ones that are already available. Is there a way I can go online and find more icons or can I even use images I have on my computer and somehow 'convert' them? If this is the case, how would I go about doing this?

I have a radio controlled atomic clock, which is supposed to be as accurate as you can get, when it comes to time. I have two computers, and one of them is the same time as the clock, but the other one is always 2 minutes & 25 seconds off! This wouldn't be a big deal, but I work at a job where things have to happen every hour on the hour, and I'm constantly having to reset the clock on the computer, to match the atomic clock, so that the computer will start on time automatically. Any suggestions?

now to any one whos nos this is a star ...its a game from the ninteno 64 now i cant give you alot of info cus i dont really remember much as i played it when i was about ten

now all i can remember about it was the egg like people and you had to get keys to get to the next level or to save your people ,they also had fruit to collect ........ i think it was called someting like eggserlant advernture im not to sure

okay. it's an eMachine. the light around the power button is on, but the computer itself wont turn on, no matter how many times ive punched the button or held it down. the orange light that flickers on the machine itself isnt there. there is a faint, high pitched sound and i think its either the optical drive or the thing trying to turn on. but i have no idea! please help!
