Download JetAudio. I know it's a big download (about 16 megabytes) but it can do conversions between WAV, MP3, MP3Pro, OGG, WMA, MPEG, AVI, WMV, MIDI, RM, and video and audio CD tracks.

sure WMA archives are smaller.. yet they dont play in some gamers, cellular telephone etc..etc.. you could receive it from the internet type WMA to MP3 or MP3 to WMA in Googles or Yahoo and also you may locate some effects. good success!

There are several free and/or open source convertors.

If you have a playback device that supports OGG (Vorbis) then there are no licensing restrictions on that format and you should use it. If not, then you can get a convertor, or a codec. The convertor will simply take a file and convert it. The codec will allow (de)compression so that Windows Media can do it itself using the Save As menu option.

Do you have Roxio? If so, on the player, you can choose the songs (in wma format) and format them to mp3.

Option #1
Open Windows Media Player. Put the song in and go to file --> "Save as" an change it to mp3.
It must be at least Windows Media Player version 10 to do this.
Download it here

Option #2
Download iTunes.
Drag & Drop the song into iTunes and it will convert them for you.
