Does anyone know if Call of Duty patch v. 1.5 lets you interact with v. 1.3 servers and people?

I have the Game of the Year Edition 2003

I really doubt it. The server you connect to should run the same version of the game. the call of duty patch can be sownloaded at the call of duty site, which can be located throught the activision site.
