Printers

i've got a canon imageclass MPC190S printer and recently, it's been having problems printing anything using black ink. more specifically, it prints blanks where anything black should be, eg, a text document becomes a blank piece of paper. colour works fine. the printer didn't send me any error messages.

i've tried everything suggested in the instruction manual - cleaning, deep cleaning, head alignment, changing cartridge. but didn't work. my printer's 3-4 years old.

any suggestions for fixing? or should i just start saving money to buy a new printer?

My computer printer will not work. I have tried to print but the power light and the paper feed light just keep blinking. Even when there is paper in there. I tried to rerun the disk that came with the printer but that still didn't work. Any solutions?

both my laptop and the computer are connected to my wireless router and we share an internet connection through this and im sure i can share printers this way to but im not sure how

Hi Does anyone know anything about this specific printer? It can print in colour, but we dont really care about that..we really need it primarily for black and white. Someone in house at our company is saying it can only work with colour cartridges..can this printer work with just black and white?? I am not close enough to be able to go and look at this machine in person?

Was working ok until had unit reformatted. Can send and receive emails but NOT scanned pics. I think I changed ports or ? after window said needed update ? How do I find the correct settings needed ? Not talking about regular attachments - just the scanned items from my MFC printer

the Ready and Alarm LCD lights are blinking and I find out that the machine had a paper jam. I removed the paper but the lights are still blinking. I cannot print and I cannot reset the printer. Any ideas?

printer will go threw prosses of downloading drive for printer at the very end of down loading a ERROR pops up and stats that can not find drive for windows this is threw printer manafactures i have unastalled instaled all that i know is there a trick for this windows vista or does someone know what i could be doing wrong PLEASE HELP

I have a two year old printer/ scanner/ photocopier/ memory card reader etc, it really is, or was the dogs taters, however it now just beeps at me saying ( in lcd of course ) cannot clean, refer to maintenance, cannot turn off, job not complete.

I have done all the maintenance and troubleshooting above and beyond the norm. If I smash it I will feel an awfull lot better, but am not sure if i'll be able to afford a new one for a couple of weeks.

What do you say.

I am getting tired of my HP 950c Deskjet printer quickly running out of ink. Someone suggested checking out Laserjet printers. I found BROTHER HL-2030 LASER PRINTER but am still confused how the laser printer can help me save on ink.

When i purchase a new inkjet cart i normally print 5 pages within that day then levae the printer untoched for a couple months a print a page or two. Basically the cart isnt used much. Someone suggested laser toner.

Can you explain to me how laser toners are better than inkjet carts? Do they last until they are empty or is there the possiblity of drying out or some other part failing? How many months or years can i get out of this Brother Laserjet if it is used as infrequently as i do?

Tiny toner specs appear all over my paper, I've tried several settings/paper combos. I am on a mac so don't have access to HP Toolbox that is recommended to solve this problem. Maybe need to clean the paper path, but don't know how. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Until recently my Canon Printer, S750, worked fine,
Using XP home. Now I cannot renstall it because the message keeps saying it cannot find the printer file. I've contacted Canon and their instructions do not correct it. Does anyone know what file I am missing and how to find it? I know it sounds vague and impossible but I need help. Thanks.

I would like to know how to get 4 pictures to one sheet of A4 sized paper, also what do I do to set the printer to take smaller paper such as a quarter of the size of A4, other than not being able to do this [ being a novice.........
