printer will go threw prosses of downloading drive for printer at the very end of down loading a ERROR pops up and stats that can not find drive for windows this is threw printer manafactures i have unastalled instaled all that i know is there a trick for this windows vista or does someone know what i could be doing wrong PLEASE HELP

What printer and model?
Did you go to the printer manufacturer's web site and download the latest Vista driver for your printer?

Unplug printer
Download latest VISTA drivers from Manuf's website.
RUN the installer program,
connect printer ONLY when prompted.
Strange hangup on USB printers, gotta have drivers part loaded b4 you connect it . . . otherwise it doesn't create the Virtual printer port properly.

Kat, is your printer supported by Vista ??
Check the manufactures website under support/drivers and punch in your printer model, if its Vista supported, it should list the latest software.
If you do have the latest Vista drivers for the printer and still have problems, please post back the error number/messages.
