I have new HP photosmart C4180 , All-in-one..........[ learning ]?

I would like to know how to get 4 pictures to one sheet of A4 sized paper, also what do I do to set the printer to take smaller paper such as a quarter of the size of A4, other than not being able to do this [ being a novice......... I don't always understand the terminology ] I have found it to be a very good printer and everything else on it pretty straightforward.. thankyou

this is the printer i have and i'm assuming that the pictures u wont to print are stored on the computer not on a memory card inserted into the printer?

if u click on the folder the pictures are stored in, assuming again u have xp! - and click on button that says print pictures in the left hand menu of the window. it's under picture tasks. advance through the wizard and it will let u select how many pictures per page u want.

on selecting a smaller paper size, just narrow the paper tray to the size required, and then for example in Microsoft Word, select:

1. File
2. Page Setup

then just change the size of the paper to the size u want.

- Open up powerpoint
- Go to Insert, Picture, From File and put in all your photos and arrange them then just print that powerpoint slides

B) Go to the directory with the pictures
- Select your photos, right click, open with Windows Picture & Fax Viewer
- Click the print icon
- At the Layout Selection, choose contact sheets and then you can select the number of pictures per sheet

C) Using the printer driver
- At your slides, type Ctrl-P
- Go to Printer Preference, Features, Finishing, choose the number of pages per sheet.

At your application, eg. powerpoint, photo editor, etc
- Go to Page, setup, set the paper size
- Type control-P
- Go to Printer Preferences, Paper - Quality - Size
- Choose the paper size you have (eg. 4R)
