There are two ways:
On the computer that is attached to the printer enable file and printer sharing.
On the other computer(s) you want to print from add a network printer.

This means that the computer with the printer attached needs to be on all the time, but the price is right (free!).

The other way is to by a network print server. You can get these to support parallel or USB printers.

Plug it into the printer, plug it into the network (router) and follow the instructions that came with it.

You have to buy the print server and it may be a little more complicated to set up, but now you do not need to leave the other computer on all the time.

Run the Network Setup Wizard in Control Panel. It should walk you through all the steps.

Edit: And make sure printer is installed on both

in accordance to the HP website, the printer you have is the two under pressure and on the spot community able out of the field. The bluetooth ingredient become a incorrect steer and you will desire to supply up on that as that is only for terribly short variety (10ft.) use. in the adventure that your information superhighway router is on your table then the least puzzling ingredient to do is to connect a cable between between the 4 ports on the returned of the router and an identical port on the printer. that could be a 'directly Ethernet cable' and could fee you around a fiver from a respectable laptop shop or around £15 from computing device international. This then delivers a printer linked on your community which you would be able to print to remotely. in the adventure that your information superhighway router isn't on your table then you definately would desire to connect the printer on your community wirelessly. there's a menu selection on the printer to permit you to % your on the spot community and to go into the community password (called WEP/WPS/TKIP key). this would set up a on the spot link between the printer and your information superhighway router, returned imparting you with a printer linked on your community which you would be able to print to remotely. some HP printers got here with a application software on the CD that helps you do this and to get it to artwork you will desire to do a as quickly as-only setup with the USB connection in place. In the two case, to try this nevertheless, you will would desire to function a sparkling printer on your computing device. on top of issues Panel, Printers, upload a printer and shop on with the activates for including a community printer. The printer would desire to easily take place interior the record that comes up after which you're off. If this does not bypass as easily as i've got pronounced right here then get your unique CD that got here with the printer and there is an setting up wizard there which will step you thru it. the different beneficial factors of the printer (scanning, memory card slots) are not available over the community connection.

I think you have to allow the printer to be shared on the network and once permissions are set...
go to the printer setup wizard (control panel > printers....)
and add a printer...

if that's not working try to install the printer's driver on your computer... and try to add the printer again...

I hope this helps...
