I messed up the settings-now can't email scanned pictures why?

Question

Was working ok until had unit reformatted. Can send and receive emails but NOT scanned pics. I think I changed ports or ? after window said needed update ? How do I find the correct settings needed ? Not talking about regular attachments - just the scanned items from my MFC printer

What format are you saving these scanned files as? It should still work regarless of format, but you should check the files extension. If it is saving them as .tiff for example, your email client may not be capable of displaying these file types. Try converting or saving these files from the scanner as .jpg or .gif.
