I'm building a website for school, and I need to compare my resolution to the schools.
I'm not the best with computers, more the Internet on it's own, so the simpler, the better.
:D Apologies if I put this in the wrong category; as I said, I'm not great at computers, and I'm not sure where this should be.

Somehow, I did something and messed up my settings. Now web pages are too big horizontally for a window, so I have to scroll right all the time. I changed the resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 and can see the entire page in the window, but the words are microscopic. I tried increasing the text size ("View" on the toolbar), and it works on some pages but other pages become too big for the window again. Plus, it reverts back every time I close the browser, and I have to increase the size each time I open it again.

Is there some way to make pages fit the window without having to scroll over, but also have larger text so I can actually read it? (I use Firefox as my browser.) Thanks!

I have a client who wants to set up a three monitor set up. I'm familiar with dual monitors, but how does he set up three monitors? Does he need a new graphics card from ATI and/or Nvidia? thanks.

I use an LCD monitor hooked up through VGA and haven't really noticed any difference when compared to a monitor using DVI. Is this just my own perception or is there really very little difference between the Analog and Digital connections.

Is there any way I can have my widescreen computer to play a 4:3 game on full screen while keeping the proportions? It is not a game option. I want to have my computer display the 4:3 game properly, and have blanks in the spaces not displaying the game.

Are anti-glare items good for the eyes? I mean is it better to use anti-glare than to use your computer screen without it? Does it make a difference?

my monitor at work made a sizzling noise after I plugged in from moving it to my new desk and then I heard a pop and then smoke came out of it. The IT guy said they would come out and look at it but I'm thinking that if smoke was coming out of it, something fried on the circuit board and no one can use it again. Al least I don't want to. What do you think?

This morning my monitor just started flickering along with a small clicking noise that seems to be coming from the monitor. It flickers every time it makes the clicking sound every 5 seconds or so. I think it's because it's being used in long periods of time and maybe needs to be off for a while.

Hey guys, happy new year to all and hope the new year finds you and all you care about well. I'm having problems with my display, I'm getting grainy lines running horizontally and vertically on my screen and I can't figure out why. It goes when I restart the machine but they quickly appear and get worse the more I use the PC. It's very strange, I swapped monitors and it's not that, I can't figure out what it is to be honest. Any ideas guys? It must be something in XP I suppose. Thanks very much dudes, keep it real and all the best.

Both my laptop(Compaq Persario V2000) and my TV (Daewoo) have S-Video Input and Outputs. When i plugged the S-Video in and pressed Fn+F4 I got a picture on my TV, but it was black and white and it was jumping. I looked all over the internet for an answer but i didn't find one. Please help me. PS When I put in a movie its black instead of showing the movie. But i can see the cursor. P.P.S I have an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M graphic card. The thing is the movies seem to move to 4:3 ratio when on the 360, filling the entire square without any vertical bar. So when I zoom or stretch the image, I"M missing something. what should I do
