i have tried to apply some moniter profiles but im a bit confused. all i want to do is see the same colour on screen as what i print out and what is on my pantone book.

There is a black band down either side of my screen and I want to

I disabled my monitor(perhaps it was the grapics card). Anyway there is no other port(which I'm aware of)resembling the monitor connection configuration that i could use instead its a used computer so I'm not sure if the ATI was considerd the "intergrated"graphics(monitor) port .I disabled the ATIrage128ultra vidio card while using Device Manager /driver update/ the card showed conflict on up to 4 of the same memory reserve things(did that make sense-memorythings ie 000-868fftp) all i haqve now is a blank screen Bios came on once or twice initially but now there's nothing:(
Can it be fixed???

I have an 'hp pavilion ze4400' (I think that's what it's called. I just use the computer!) and the screen has gotten extremely smudged in the 3 years I've had it. I haven't found any special cleaning cloth or solution, so if anyone knows any method to cleaning the screen--it is much appreciated if you share!

mine is a brand new CRT screen monitor (baught 2 months ago).Sudennly from yesterday night there is a strange compaint,the screen is turning yello.The words which are to appear in white color started appearing in yellow and other colors started appearing in some new mixtures of yellow.The computer is quite normal in other aspects.WATS THE PROBLEM PLZ HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

scrambled after 3 days, CPU works great montior cord fine juss the screen has scrambled all of the colors hasnt been dropped nor touched so yeh and ive tried everything i can think of to fix.

I know Intel uses GHz to tell the speed of their processors and AMD always uses a big number followed by a +. When I am trying to compare prices and speeds, how do I compare ghz to the AMDs? for instance, my computer is a 2.8 ghz processor, what would that be on AMD (####+)?

well i connected my tv to my computer through s-video to a 36 inch tv. Apparently im not supposed to use messanger (yahoo, xfire or msn) on this. I found that out the hard way as the text was messed and to small. Also when i watch movies, it is cut at the bottom and the side of my screen/tv is kinda twisted/warped. Is there a way to fix that as well as prevent the cut off and by any chance use the tv for surfing the web without losing my eyes?
