What kind of adaptor would go with a 170MP LCD Monitor?

Some monitors have the power supply built-in. In that case a standard computer power cord will work. If the monitor uses an external transformer than the power supplies are not universal.

Looks like there is a DC adapter that goes with this monitor. So the power supply is external and not universal.

No, they are all unique and unless you have a similar monitor at home you will need to get another exactone. If you need to replace it, you can go to the manufacturers website to see if you can replace it. If it is under warranty and the power adapter was defective, you can get it exchanged without any cost.

all adaptor for led monitor is universal.

check ports on the pc / vs. monitor . they generally on the newer ones , are all going to usb , but will facilitate both serial+ usb.
