before you reinstall your video card and drivers or get out your soldering iron, just check that the data cable at the back of the monitor is firmly plugged in - if its a little loose you can get colour distortions on the monitor

Since the monitor is 2 months old and you did not have problem prior to this, I highly doubt you have bent pins within the VGA connector.....
If the screen went black, or flicker then I would look at your video card.... My hunch is that this is not the problem....
CRT screen use electron guns to project the color images to the back of the screen.... I believe one of these guns is about to fail or is out of sync... Since the monitor is 2 months old, bring it on for repair....
Hope this helps...

monitor has three basic colors...red green and blue...and a mixture of these colors gives you all 256 colors or higher...accordingly....so your monitor problem is that of the three color guns which are situated behind the cone of the picture tube..if ts CRT or iin the ckt whick varies the intensity of the three colors if its lcd or plasma...
if its a CRT monitor...just tap and see if this goes away...
otherwise its simple...
if youhave a soldring iron...solder all the points on the small ckt which is behind the cone...(as the solders become dry and crack.)
thats all bro....just tap and see first on the sides..then the solder thing!

in case you think of you have an infection get it dealt with. even inspite of the shown fact that it is common for a foot tattoo to have some swelling. yet another difficulty to remember is seen color concept. in case you're watching yellow bordering on blue the eyes will see green whether the colors do not overlap. except you experience you have a concern that needs scientific interest, provide it it sluggish to heal and it might artwork out.

You have a hardware failure
If the monitor is new it should be covered by a return to new DOA - Dead on Arrival Policy
check it out

You might have unseated your video card while working inside the case. Reseat it and reboot. If still yellow, uninstall drivers for video card and reboot. Then reinstall the drivers that came with your card.
