There are two monitor's I'm thinking of getting, (1) 15.4" Wide = 262k
(2) 15" normal = 16 million.

It is always better with 16 mil colors. the diferent means that the 16 mil
that use all the color range what you can see to make the grafiks, fotos
etc. So you will be better of with 16 mil.

It might not be a lot different, 262K color is a lot of color, and 16 million is kinda ridiculous. But the 16 million might look a little better sometimes (like games or dvds)

If you're going to be viewing photographs on your computer, I'd say go for the 16 million colours. If you'll only be playing games, editing text, DTP, writing CD/DVD, etc., you probably wouldn't even notice the difference. (Not many humans are able to differentiate that many colours.)

I don't know how someone could think that 16-bit colour (65,536 colours) is more than 262,000 colours.

go 4 16 bit
it shows more colors than 262k its very noticable
