They say they clean up smudges and streaks, but after I used them I got more streaks. I used 3d Microfiber Electronics Cloth and that seemed to do the job better. What did I do wrong with the pc wipes?

I want to connect my PC from it's DVI-I output to my LCD TV through it's HDMI input. My google search for a cable that would allow me to do this brought no clear answers. Can anyone please tell me exactly which cable and/or adapter I need? Also, if you could link me to these parts and where I can buy them, I'd be very greatful.

Will the picture quality in this setup be better than if I used a VGA to VGA cable? Will my 6600GT be able to output video onto my monitor and TV at the same time?

I've been reading all these horror stories about MS Vista requiring a HDCP input to view HD content. Is this overblown? There are hardly any HDCP compliant monitors out there (and they're expensive). Is MS really going to expect the millions of users to trash their $500 lcds to get a new HDCP...I can't see that. Please enlighten me on the plausibility of MS alienated almost all of their customers and leaving the world with millions of junked LCD's without an HDCP connecter X-(

Hubby was burning a movie and computer shut down. did the same thing to me when i went to burn a cd. we bought a new bigger power supply and installed now the monitor will not come on. the tower comes on and you can here it running and the light on the monitor blinks but it will not come on . I need ythis as i am starting an online class. Please Help

I can no longer use my monitor as often, due to the worsening of my condition. Is there an inexpensive way to set up my monitor so I can change positons, print, scan, all of which require it,s use. I have limited space in my house, so have been looking into some kind of mounting of the monitor to an arm=type device, but have not found any that are suitable. I need it to protrude from wall as well as move up and down. I know without unlimited funds, this may be difficult, but someone here might just have the same health issues I do. If so, please let me know how you set it up and what it entails. Thank you to anyone that can help. Gina

the monitor worked fine for about a week, but now it constantly says out of range. It is fine upon startup but after windows loads, it has one of two messages, out of range or 'no signal detected'

hi ...
i just installed a new graphics card .
i guess that i didnt install the drivers properly .
so my games started but within a few seconds i got a blue screen sayin somethin like "primary memory dump ".
it also said that if this recurred i should remove any new hardware or software installed recently .
so i went to the settings and changed the display option from agp to onboard .
now my system starts up with windows but there is no display on the monitor.
kindly tell me wat to do ..

I have a PC which is "Intel (R) ,Pentium (R) 4CPU,1.70 GHz.
1.70 GHz,128 MB of RAM.and it's monitor is Philips Banded but CPU is Dell Banded.Now When I strat my PC ,i found all files and Icons look red .I also change it to another CPU but not good result.
HOw can I get my previous Clear monitor ( which is available in normal PC)?

I have had an old monitor with my computer since 2002. The monitor had no problems at all for the first couple of years until 2006. Since then, the screen occasionally flickers. I think my stepmother bought the monitor for her business in 1997 because it has a High Color 16-bit option. Should I buy another used monitor soon?

Well this other computer that we have has a problem.

We had to get a new monitor a while back and the one we got will work sometimes. When it doesnt it says No Signal . we fixed it then didnt use it about a month and now we just tried to add a graphics card, but now the monitor says No Signal, the keyboard and mouse will only flash once , the keyboard might stay lite but the mouse wont. all the cords are connected. It should work but wont.
What is wrong with this thing?

im moving across country, and want to keep my computer, BUT my monitor is is huge I thought I'd just get a new one when i get to my destination, I wont lose anything off my desktop right ? Im gonna just take the tower and mouse....cool ??

My LED monitor toppled over ,screen didnt break but it looks like you are looking thru a spiderweb.
Can this be fixed or should I just trash it and get a new one?

How do you get a display picture off your welcome screen not desktop it was put there by mistake?
The screen where your users are..........where the users sign on to the pc not your i-con button your whole background
