Like what kind of beep. There are plenty of beep patterns to start with. Try looking into the net for all boot sound pattern, this should get you a head start.

what kind of motherboard.bios do you have. a series of beeps can mean a post error and the beeps will tell what is wrong. if it is only the 1 beep when you first turn on your pc and everything boots, that 1 beep means everything passed the post test and you are good to go

you need to be more specific.

Assuming you're using Windows.

usually, it is be your antivirus software having its service terminated by windows.

Is the sound heard when you're in safe mode too? (to access safe mode, press F8 right when the computer is turn on, press it several times if you don't know when to press, choose safe mode)

If it's not heard in safe mode, then it must be just an application being terminated by the operating system - nothing to worry about.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
